Susan felt miserable: she wanted to cry and hide, but a little voice in the back of her mind reminded her that she wasn't a child any longer. She needed to be brave. "Hold on, Uncle!" the young Time Lady cried, while Omega worked on reconnecting the TARDIS controls so that they could dematerialize. "Stay with us!" She wasn't sure what was happening, but it looked bad. She didn't recognize the black mass that was sucking the Life from the Man With the Rosette, and she didn't wish to get to know it better... A few seconds later, and they were dematerializing. Hopefully, that black stuff would wind up getting left behind as they fled. Whatever it was, it gave her the heebie-jeebies, and Susan found herself wishing very hard that her Grandfather were here.

(OOC: A small booboo in my last post. I meant to say "Rematerialize" since they were travelling in the Time Vortex. But I suppose rematerialization can count as dematerializing from the Time Vortex. My bad guys ^^; )
The TARDIS doors attempted to close upon Omega's interference. The Man with the Rosette continued to scream in agony. The Tiger in the room attempted to attack the Tendrils, only for one of the Tendrils to slap the Tiger back and send it flying across the console room, crashing into a bookcase and sending its entire collection crashing down. Another tendril lashed out and smacked Omega, hard, in the monster's attempt to stop their escape. But it was too late. Omega was just in time, and just as the Time Rotor began to fluctuate smoothly again, the Man with the Rosette's TARDIS slowly disappeared from the Time Vortex, and from within the console room, the creature's tendrils also began to fade away.
The good news was they materialized on another planet. It had gravity similar to Earth then again what planet doesn't in Doctor Who, and was capable of supporting life. Humanoid life, that is, so the air is breathable. Wouldn't matter though, since the doors had finally been able to shut again as soon as the creature disappeared. Fire control began to kick in, as a white foam and smoke began to spray from small turrents that materialized into the console room and put out the flames.
The Man with the Rosette, however, was lying on the ground. He wasn't moving at first. One of his hearts had stopped beating, but that could be easily fixed.
His left hand and forearm, however, appeared to be almost transparent. Just enough you could see the muscles, arteries, nervous system, tissues, and bones in his arm all at once, and then past that onto the very floor his arm was lying on. As if it was fading out of existence. Out of Time. Some would assume this phenomena to be similar to Time Fade, where all evidence of a person's existence, be it physically written down, drawn, all they did in history, their physical being, and even all memory of said person would begin to disappear. Slowly, however, his arm began to solidify again, and the man's breathing resumed.

Omega was smacked hard just as he hit the rematerialization controls and he found himself flying back and toppling over a chair. He hit the ground hard, but he slapped the ground and listed his head to avoid colliding his skull into the hard floor. He was pretty fortunate for that battle training he had as a child, it certainly saved his skin once in awhile. He then noticed that the creature was gone and they were safe for now.
Omega stumbled up and then went to the TV screen (or this guy's equivalent) to glance at the specs. Earth equivalent, so safe for them. He took a deep breath and then went over to the Man with the Rosette to help him up. No use leaving him there.
"We're safe." Omega spoke up, his voice strained as he helped the man to a chair and sat him down. "... For now."

"Is everyone alright?" Susan asked the two gentlemen with her in the TARDIS. "We're safe... For now." Omega had deduced. "Good - but, what was that?" Susan asked after they had rematerialized somewhere, and Omega had helped the Man With the Rosette back into a chair to rest after their ordeal. "And, where are we?" Puzzled, Susan looked to the viewing screen and saw that wherever they were, the atmosphere was comprable to Earth. Yup, Susan was still wishing that her grandfather were here... ((OOC: Sorry this is so incredibly brief - the muse doesn't seem to have much more to say just now. Thank you for understanding!))

As the man is set into a chair, he slowly began regaining control of his breathing and looked around from his seat to examine any visible damage his TARDIS may have sustained from the inside.
"That...was most likely the very thing we're trying to stop from happening," the man replied. His face was pale. He was breathing somewhat heavily. He knew a great deal of his life force was drained by their recent attacker. Not just his life force however. His very physical being, all traces of him from the web of time, all he had been in this current life.
He slowly got up, putting his weight on Omega at first as he attempted to walk to the console. He attempted to press his weight against other objects as he attempted to walk on, eventually putting some of his weight on the tiger as the pet slowly helped him approach the console.
A few buttons tapped on a keyboard, and the planet's coordinates and other information came up. The planet was mostly covered by water with islands scattered all over it. CVE particles had also drenched the planet in a non-harmful radiation.
"As far as my charts are concerned...according to our coordinates, we are on what Earth will later colonize and rename as Hawaii II," he began. He looked at his screen again. "And it appears...one of the Master's TARDIS's is also here."

Omega helped The Man with the Rosette to a chair and rested his hands on his knees to take a few deep breaths, noting that this Fifth Doctor body was quite the sturdy one. Man, he could get tortured and probably still stand up after that! Either way, they had no idea where they were now and Susan certainly noted that as well, looking to her and nodding.
"Let me see..." He assisted the other man with the console, checking it out. Some place called Hawaii II and another Master's TARDIS was right there. Oh boy, this wasn't going to end well at all... He then pulled his hair back, glancing at the others.
"Then what should we do? We can't stay in here forever and The Master could pick us up through the Vortex again."

"Good - but, what was that? And, where are we?" "That...was most likely the very thing we're trying to stop from happening," the man replied.Susan gave a shudder as she realized that somewhere out there, this nightmarish, amalgamated!Master already existed and was trying to hunt them down. "As far as my charts are concerned...according to our coordinates, we are on what Earth will later colonize and rename as Hawaii II," he began. He looked at his screen again. "And it appears...one of the Master's TARDIS's is also here."Susan frowned worriedly; though, it very nearly appeared to be a pout. Omega posed the question: "Then what should we do? We can't stay in here forever and The Master could pick us up through the Vortex again.""Well..." Susan said, gulping a bit. "Seems we have two choices, really: either we can keep running and hope to find some place and time that's free of the Master, or... We all take a deep breath, think brave thoughts, and go out there and confront him." She gulped again. Susan didn't really care for either option. The first, well... running wouldn't solve this crisis. As for the second, Susan didn't want to have yet another encounter with the master - they tended to be rather unpleasant.

"Then what should we do? We can't stay in here forever and The Master could pick us up through the Vortex again."
"Well... Seems we have two choices, really: either we can keep running and hope to find some place and time that's free of the Master, or... We all take a deep breath, think brave thoughts, and go out there and confront him."
The man chuckled at Susan's second comment. "That sounds more like something your grandfather would say, my child."
He straightened his suit first. His pet tiger approached him, having picked up the sonic screwdriver that had fallen to the ground and returning it to its current owner. He tucked the screwdriver away in the inner breast pocket of his coat.
"And quite frankly, I feel more like the doing the latter. You are both welcome to stay in my TARDIS if you believe you'll feel safer."
He reached to a tall metallic pail, one used to keep one's umbrellas and canes. He picked up what looked to be the simplest designed cane in the batch. He looked at his Tiger in the eyes.
"Stay here and protect the ship. I will call you if I need assistance."
Picking up a scanner from a desk next to the doors, he proceeded to exit the TARDIS.

Omega would never run. He would rather face the demon head on and face his own fears than anything else. He was a tough Time Lord and knew what he was doing. Perhaps. He was a genius engineer, but he knew he would need help. He scanned the console, memorizing the switched and levers on the entire place as Susan spoke up.
"Well..." She was nervous. "Seems we have two choices, really: either we can keep running and hope to find some place and time that's free of the Master, or... We all take a deep breath, think brave thoughts, and go out there and confront him."
Running wouldn't help, he knew that for a fact. Right now, they needed to face whatever it was out there. He straightened up, adjusting his black sweater. The Man with the Rosette had straightened himself, recovering quite well.
"That sounds more like something your grandfather would say, my child. And quite frankly, I feel more like the doing the latter. You are both welcome to stay in my TARDIS if you believe you'll feel safer."
"Not a chance." With that, he faced the entrance of the TARDIS, ready to face the outdoors along with the Man with the Rosette and Susan.

(If it is alright with you two, I'd like to shift our characters actions now to another Master Plan Thread, "Tribes".)
