The child Master turned to Sunny. The muscles in his left cheek and eye began to twitch in growing anger and hatred to this happy cheerful girl, to the point he wanted to reach out and strangle her where she stood.
"What..." he began in a very soft voice, slowly growing in irritation as he tried to hold back his anger. He needed to be calm and logical about how to handle this situation, but things going on around him at this moment were not helping. To the point his anger really was at a boiling point. Two incompetent buffoons of incarnations, a cheeky renegade and his companion, and now this little brat. "Do you mean my shields simply exploded!? DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW HARD IT IS TO CREATE FORCEFIELDS THAT BLOCK OUT ATRON RADIATION WHILE TRAVELLING THROUGHOUT SPACE AND TIME!? DO YOU YOU INCOMPETENT LITTLE-"
His eyes darted away from her though when his cyborg self threatened to kill Meddler's companion if he tried to leave. Honestly the console room was more important at this moment.
But then again, they could use the extra human shields.
Koschei however stared at her even more baffled than he was before. "The Daleks...Shot you...And yet you-"
"SECONDARY TARDIS IDENTIFIED!"
Having entered the chamber from another entrance, two bronze Daleks had appeared from around either side of the currently captured TARDIS.
"ENEMY LIFE FORMS DETECTED! EXTERMINATE!"
Both Daleks aimed their lasers. One of them fired at the Cyborg Master, Meddler, and Emilie, in that order. The other one aimed his laser at the other two Masters and Sunny.
Koschei tried firing his staser at one of the Daleks, only for his bolt to have no effect whatsoever against the Time War Dalek powered by Atron Energy. His staser was centuries outdated by the time the war started.
The Child Master on the other hand pointed his Tissue Compression Eliminator at the same Dalek and fired. The Dalek didn't just shrink down, he was actually disintegrated by the shot.
The other Dalek, upon seeing his comrade being destroyed, logically determined that despite being on board a TARDIS in active flight in the Vortex and being able to soak an infinite amount of Atron energy as a result, the Master still held a method to kill them right there, and was still a threat.
"TARGET IDENTIFIED AS THE MASTER! ALL FORCES MUST EXTERMINATE HIM! PREVENT ENEMY LIFE FORMS FROM ENTERING SECONDARY TARDIS!"
"I OBEY!" came a unison response, as even more Daleks showed up from the two side entrances and the back entrance that the original two had entered from.
"Console room! Now!" the child Master yelped as he began running down the hallway Sunny entered from.
Koschei looked at the sight of the Daleks. That was probably the best thing his future self had said during their entire time together. He hesitated for a second, looking back at Emilie with an odd sense of...familiarity? Didn't she-
He ducked as a laser blast nearly scorched his head. "What are the rest of you waiting for. Run!"
Dropping his outdated staser, he pulled out an older model of his TCE, one that was still a small rod shaped tool and still only activated by pressing one's thumb against the button at the butt of the weapon. The Dalek that was hit by his shot only shrank down to a few inches high, as opposed to complete disintegration like the other Master's weapon had. This older model had a slower rate of fire, not just because the activator button was a section of the rod you had to push one or two inches into the rest of the weapon, but also because of the awkward way the weapon had to be held in order to use it. After killing one or two more Daleks, Koschei then turned and ran off after his older child-looking self.

Sunny stumbled a bit as The CHild Master started yelling at her, reaching out to grab one of the tendrils. Depending on if the other Master could absorb information much like The Borg, or if he could sense the temperature change, Sunny seemed to feel incredibly hot for a 'normal human.' Either way she managed to regain her footing and let go before Emile was accidentally strangled. She glanced over to The Child Master.
"Yeah, I know! You have to be able to harness enough atomic level energy to be able to block out the artron energy from being able to pass through the 'membrane.' That usually takes a lot of positron emission bombardment. I read it in a book on Arcturos called-" Sunny's moment of genius was interrupted by the sound of a freak'n Dalek. She had to stop for a moment, realizing that the group was in a lot of danger and The Master had told them to get to the console room.
"Well~. I think we're in a dilly of a pickle. That's what the term is, right?" To Koschei. "Forget about who I am at the moment!" Sunny quickly grabbed Koschei's hand and she would follow the two Masters towards the console room, glancing behind her to see if Emile and The Meddler, as well as that creepy cyborg were following.
"I think introductions can wait!"

"Anything funny to say now, freak?" the cyborg asked, a second mechadendrite rising like a scorpion's sting. "Anything?"
Emilie remained admirably cool through the whole experience. "He's far less a freak than you," she taunted. "What are you master of? The Borg? Wasting time when there are Daleks on the loose in a confined space?"
"Something funny to say?" the Meddler repeated, ignoring the shouting of the other masters in the background. "Hmmm..."
His entire world narrowed to the figures of the cyborg and Emilie. And then he took one step forward, miming a fencing lunge, and the cyborg jerked as something stabbed through his face.
There was nothing in the Meddler's hand. But his shadow held a sword.
"Got your nose," the Meddler said, smiling grimly. Then he stepped forward again and caught Emilie in his arms as the corpse of the cyborg toppled backwards and crashed heavily to the deck of the TARDIS. "Are you all right?" he asked, voice alarmed. "Did he harm you?"
"SECONDARY TARDIS IDENTIFIED!" a hideous electronic voice shrieked. "ENEMY LIFE FORMS DETECTED! EXTERMINATE!"
His eyes went wide, both at the sight of the Daleks and at the realization that they were between himself and Emilie and their TARDIS. Time slowed to a crawl in the peculiar Time Lord fashion as he searched the probabilities of the Near Now for an escape.
Slowly, gunsticks came to bear on them both.
There was, he realized, only one path that would let them live more than thirty seconds. They would have to retreat deeper into the Master's TARDIS.
Time seemed to snap back to normal as he spun Emilie and himself in a move almost like dancing, feeling the heat of exterminator bolts as they singed past him. "Run, Ms. Gunnar!" he shouted, pushing her ahead of him. "We must run!"
"Console room! Now!" the young-looking Master shouted as they streaked past him.
"Exactly," the Meddler said to Emilie. "The console room." He grined a little. "If we can beat him there, then we can jettison the bulk of the capsule. Cast the Masters and the Daleks into the Vortex, and then maneuver back to recover your TARDIS."

She had been put in a choke hold by an cyborg that hated the man she was falling in love with, her daughter had been captured by said cyborg and his companions with the intentions of stripping her bare. There was something familiar about him, about the name 'the Master'. It was almost a familiar memory, though none of their faces were familiar. Emilie hadn't forgotten how little that meant when dealing with Time Lords, but a vague sense of recognition didn't change matters in the here and now, so she had opted to let it go.
For a moment, Emilie was acutely aware of how much she both wanted the Meddler to go and save himself and their daughter, but was also terrified of the prospect of dying herself. Even worse was the idea of not dying when she should and the Meddler finally deciding she wasn't worth it, because surely he had to draw the line somewhere.
Then the cyborg holding her fell backwards when the Meddler made a jabbing motion with air. Air that somehow actually cut into him, she registered slowly as the now corpse fell to the ground and the Meddler caught her as shock and gravity conspired to have Emilie fall as well.
Are you all right?" he asked, voice alarmed. "Did he harm you?"
"Almost lost a heart, you, perfectly fine," Emilie answered shakily, clinging to the Meddler as she did so. "How?"
"SECONDARY TARDIS IDENTIFIED!" a hideous electronic voice shrieked. "ENEMY LIFE FORMS DETECTED! EXTERMINATE!"
Shuddering at the hated voices of the Daleks, she had just enough time to work up a new froth of panic and adrenaline at being targeted by the devil trashcans when the Meddler pushed her ahead with the instruction to run.
"If we can beat him there, then we can jettison the bulk of the capsule. Cast the Masters and the Daleks into the Vortex, and then maneuver back to recover your TARDIS."
Already running, Emilie nodded her agreement rapidly. "Good plan. I like this plan. Especially the part where all three of us get out of this alive."
Reaching out as they ran to grasp the Meddler's hand, she grinned wildly. Perhaps it was a sign of mental instability, but she still found running from danger as exciting as it was terrifying. Even moreso because of her confidence that they would be able to solve this problem as they had others.

"No you don't!" the blond haired child shouted towards the Meddler and Emilie as he lifted up his TCE to fire at the two of them. Instead of killing the two targets before him, he pointed his weapon to a side panel in the wall he was approaching. With the press of a second button on the device, the TCE acted like a remote control, revealing a secret passage that he immediately jumped into. Koschei ran with Sunny as she grabbed his hand. The panel had sadly closed before they got a chance to follow after the Child-Master together. The Corridor split into two directions at the end, and after seeing Meddler and Emilie go down one corridor, he lead Sunny down the same one. "Wait! Please Meddler!" he called to him. A Dalek soon arrived around the corner of another corridor, right in front of Meddler and Emilie. "HALT! DO NOT MOVE!" A quick red flash from Koschei's outdated TCE compressed the Dalek very slowly before them. "Keep moving!" While the Master himself was not the most trustworthy of renegade Time Lords to associate oneself with, this incarnation was still of his early years, before he met Ailla, before he had gone...entirely all bad. Perhaps he could still be trusted. He himself didn't like seeing what possible futures were in store for him, let alone how the two "selves" he had arrived here with turned out.
Back in the holding area, a black substance of some unknown origin crept through the cracks of the loading doors Emilie's TARDIS had been brought through. The substance moved along the floor, and entered into the body of the dead cybernetic Master lying on the floor. It absorbed this Master, everything he had done in his life, all his past thoughts, all he could've been, could've done, and would've become, the being's very odd conglomerate of a soul and what fragments left of the mind after death... The being stood, both biological and artificial eye glowing bright yellow, as it wore this...shamble of a body. "It's crude," the being said, speaking in a voice that did not belong to the original owner's, let alone did it even use the vocal cords or cybernetic implants in its throat to speak. "But it shall do for now."Of the Daleks that had entered into this room earlier, only two remained. They turned and faced the being their sensors had originally confirmed dead earlier. The damage done to the being's skull was present, but slowly the outside began to mend itself. "DO NOT MO-" A pair of the Cyborg Body's sharp tendrils shot out from the being's sleeves as he raised his arms, piercing the "necks" of the Dalek travel machine and impaling the very mutants inside their casings. The tendrils retracted. "I believe it's time for some spring cleaning," he said as he turned to the Meddler's and Emilie's TARDIS.
Sadly to everyone's dismay, the console room was already taken over by the Master's former prisoners. Six of the bronze armored Daleks were already at different stations around the console room. In the center of the console room stood their current commander, a dalek encased in armor of black and gold, with bumps of both silver and golden color, a gold gunstick and manipulator arm shaft, and a pair of red cylinder shaped lights on the top of the Dalek's head. "Report!" the Black Dalek commanded as the red optical sensor of his eyestalk turned to one of the Daleks. "SCOUTS REPORT ONE OF THE FUGITIVES IDENTIFIED AS THE MASTER ORDERING THE OTHERS TOWARDS OUR PRESENT LOCATION!" "Have all available Dalek Units on patrol. They must not be allowed to reclaim this TARDIS under their control." "I OBEY!" "Set course for Gallifrey. We shall return to finish the Time War, and exterminate the Time Lords with their own proudest TARDIS Weapon." "SENSORS INDICATE A HIDDEN PASSAGE HAS BEEN ACCESSED!" "Where does the passage lead to?" "DATA IS NOT AVAILABLE! THE DATA IS MOST LIKELY HIDDEN OR HEAVILY ENCRYPTED! THE CURRENT TARDIS LAYOUT PLANS AVAILABLE THROUGH THIS CONSOLE DOES NOT HAVE THE INFORMATION PRESENTLY!" "Find the correct layout as soon as possible. I want every secret of this vessel uncovered and under our full control by the time we arrive." "I OBEY!"

Sunny leapt forward to try and stop the other Master from escaping, but she was too late, along with the other Master she now knew. He banged on the door, cursing out loud, before whipping around to see that Emilie and The Meddler have run down that corridor. She shook her head, still clinging onto the younger Master as chaos erupted around them.
"Care to explain what's was happening before Daleks happened?" She breathed out loud, following the other two.
She skidded to a halt as another Dalek was in their way, but The Master was quick on his footing. She may have no idea exactly who The Master is or what he was capable of, but she knew that no matter what, nobody wanted a fate to the Daleks. Mutual cooperation worked out far better in these terms now.
To be honest, Sunny sort of blames herself, and she just took a deep breath.
"I'm sorry, the whole thing broke cause I wanted to escape." She explained. "I was transport heading to another planet, and we got caught up in the storm. So now I'm here."

The Meddler's boots rattled like hail on the deckplates of the Master's giant phallic symbol of a TARIDS as he ran for his life. "The console room," he said, echoing the young-looking Master's words.
"I find I have a particular fondness for that part of the plan myself," he agreed, squeezing her hand a little as it slid into his. Then he flexed the spiracles of his respiratory bypass system, allowing his blood to oxygenate directly, without requiring all of the foolishness of lungs.
This was the part he hated. He much preferred to plan things out in advance, checking the probability lines and refining his strategy until he had reached the proverbial siz-sigma confidence level in his success. Making things up as you went along was untidy, and dangerous.
Although, at least when it came to the unexpected Emilie Gunnar, it was more untidy an exhilirating...
"Wait! Please Meddler!" the younger Master called.
"My advice," the Meddler said, voice as calm and easy as if he were walking, "is to ignore him."
They rounded a corner and the Meddler skidded to a halt, nearly stumbling and falling. There, less than a half-dozen meters away, glided the squat form of a Dalek.
"HALT!" it shrieked.
"No..." the Meddler said, eyes wide. "No.."
"DO NOT MOVE!"
There was no escape. Not at this range. The best he could do was pull Emilie behind him, hoping to shield her long enough that she could escape. "Emilie... when it fires... run."
There was red flash, and the Dalek collapsed into a dense little football. "Keep moving!" the Master shouted, sprinting past with the strange young woman in tow.
Unclenching, the Meddler looked back at Emilie and shrugged. "Or, perhaps, we should give him the benefit of the doubt?"
Then, stretching his legs, he caught back up with the Master. "Out of curiousity," he asked, "how many Daleks are you keeping on this TARDIS? I ask, because it seems to me that they may very well have had the same idea I did."
He paused, glancing back to make sure Emilie was keeping up. "Perhaps we should adjourn to a secondary control room, and assess the situation?"

Running with the Meddler was new and the same in a way that was still somehow fun. Besides, adventures tended to lead to some wonderful biochemicals and very pleasant feelings, so if they survived, Emilie supposed all was well.
Well, unless either a Master or a Dalek so much as dared to harm her daughter. Then all bets were off.
She had noted the Meddler's suggestion to ignore the younger Master, anyone who thought it a good idea to keep pet Daleks wasn't someone to really take advice from, but then he saved their lives. Certainly, he saved Emilie from having to come up with a way to fight with the Meddler and his apparent desire to save her.
A desire she would make a note to reward him for later, when she wasn't raging at the idea of him getting killed by Dalek ray. She would have to do her best not to think too much on why the thought of his death struck her so deeply later as well.
Unclenching, the Meddler looked back at Emilie and shrugged. "Or, perhaps, we should give him the benefit of the doubt?"
Her heartsbeats were only just slowing down as the Meddler asked the younger Master about his Dalek fetish and suggested moving to the secondary control room.
"A united front then," Emilie commented mildly, attempting to verify if that was what the Meddler meant.

"Care to explain what's was happening before Daleks happened?""Later, now is not the time!" Koschei responded quickly. "I'm sorry, the whole thing broke cause I wanted to escape." She explained. "I was transport heading to another planet, and we got caught up in the storm. So now I'm here."Koschei rubbed his hand over his face while he was still running. "I'm sorry," he said to her quickly. He didn't see the point of wasting this many lives to satisfy his own goals. That wasn't him yet. He hadn't become that dark, that cruel, that wicked, that corrupt like the other two clearly had. Both the child and the cyborg were out to kill the Meddler and his companion. Yes he saw the need to gather TARDIS coral for their united dream. The good he could do to the Universe with that power. Yes. That power... "Right now there's no way to change that my dear. We need to focus at how to deal with the problem at hand." "Out of curiousity, how many Daleks are you keeping on this TARDIS? I ask, because it seems to me that they may very well have had the same idea I did.""I have no idea!" Koschei said stopping to catch his breath. This body of his, it wasn't as young as the Meddler's or Emilie's was, and it certainly wasn't as young as Sunny's appeared to be. "This isn't my TARDIS! I have no clue what that possible future self had them on board for besides some form of experiments." "Perhaps we should adjourn to a secondary control room, and assess the situation?""A united front then.""I don't even know if he has one!" Koschei shouted. "This TARDIS...It's not my original clearly, it's far more advanced than any Battle or War TARDIS I've ever known of, he even called it a 'Destroyer TARDIS', some new classification with more destructive firepower than I've ever seen! What possessed the Time Lords to create such a weapon of Mass Destruction? What became of Gallifrey in the future, Meddler?" Then a thought came to him. "We need weapons. We need...Devices, something to fight the Daleks. My Tissue Compression Eliminator works against one Dalek at a time, but if we come across multiples of them, my device won't be able to work as fast as a staser or some other blaster."
Deeper within the ship, upon a secret darkened chamber, a panel slid out of the wall. The child-like Master appeared. The room itself was the Architectural Reconfiguration System of the Tardis. He walked towards the center of the room, from which was a simple console. He keyed in a number of commands. When his future self had summoned him, he was in the middle of reconfiguring his body to help him hide as a child away from the war. It was time he undid the changes he made. Soon the glowing orbs in the room began to spin and swirl. At one part of the platform, a column of light shown down. Particles began reassembling themselves. They formed a metallic table, along with a spare set of larger clothes for an adult. A black jacket of some sort with two breast pockets and gold buttons that went up to the neck was laid on top of the others. From the ceiling descended an odd headpiece of some sort. It was one of the two pieces required to make a chameleon arch work. The Master reached into his pocket and pulled out a golden pocket watch. Fitting the watch into the correct spot on the helmet, he stripped down and sat on the table, fastening the helmet to his head. The Daleks surely detected the energy used to create these devices. He walked back to the console and keyed in commands to reconfigure the TARDIS architecture and lock the room, to prevent the Daleks, or anyone else from entering until his transformation was complete. He lied back on top of the table when he was done. "Begin," he commanded the console. Soon enough, he let out a great scream as the chameleon arch began re-configuring his body once again.
"REPORT!" the Black Dalek demanded. "UNITS ARE BEING DEPLOYED TO REPLACE THOSE LOST AS WE SPEAK!" one of the bronze Daleks responded. "COURSE HAS BEEN SET FOR GALLIFREY! WE ARE RETURNING TO THE TIME WAR!" A red Dalek with a claw-like arm, gold trimming, and black orbs appeared. "THE SPECIAL TASK FORCE DALEKS HAVE NOW BEEN RECOVERED FROM THE LOWER LEVELS OF THE PRISON COMPLEX!" "EXCELLENT COMMANDER! YOU WILL ACCOMPANY ME TO INSPECT THE UNITS!" "I OBEY!" They soon entered a large room. Inside were multiple dozens of silver casing Daleks with blue domes and orbs along with gold mid sections. "UPON OUR RETURN TO THE TIME WAR, YOU WILL BEGIN A DIVERSIONARY ASSAULT ON THE CAPITAL AS WE PREPARE TO FIRE THIS TARDIS'S ULTIMATE WEAPON AT THE EYE OF HARMONY! BY DESTROYING THE EYE'S CONTAINMENT CENTER, WE WILL UNDO THE HARMONIOUS BALANCE BETWEEN THE SINGULARITY AND THE PLANET, THERE BY BOTH DESTROYING GALLIFREY WITH THE PLANET'S OWN BLACK HOLE, AS WELL AS ENSURING ANY TIME LORDS WHO SURVIVE WILL BE UNABLE TO USE THEIR TARDISES FOR THE ABILITY OF TIME TRAVEL! WE, THE DALEKS, SHALL BECOME THE NEW LORDS OF TIME!" "EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!" A bronze armored dalek suddenly entered the room. "WHY HAVE YOU ENTERED?" the black dalek commanded. "TWO NEW DISTURBANCES HAVE BEEN DETECTED IN SECTION 47-AAB5 AND AN ENERGY SIGNATURE HAS BEEN DETECTED FROM THE ARS. BOTH ARE TOO FAR FROM THE FOUR TARGETS' LAST KNOWN LOCATION TO BE OF THEIR DOING!" "ONE MUST BE THE MASTER! THE OTHER MUST BE A NEW TARGET! I WANT REINFORCEMENTS SENT TO SECTION 47-AAB5 AND I WANT THE ARS SECURED IMMEDIATELY, IMMEDIATELY!" "I OBEY!" Meanwhile in section 47-AABS, the possessed body of the now deceased cybornetic Master amalgamation left the remains of another 5 Daleks to rot in the corridor as his technological appendages recoiled back under his robes.

"I'm sorry," The Master spoke up to Sunny and she just gave him a sympathetic glance. Whatever he was, he was a nice man, at least in this time and she wanted to stick with him. Just because right now he did seem like he needed a friend. In that moment, she reached forward to give him a big hug. She didn't say anything in that moment, ignoring the couple that were near her. no words needed to be said about it.
"Right now there's no way to change that my dear. We need to focus at how to deal with the problem at hand."
"I concur." She nodded. Sunny then turned back to the others to think up of a quick plan on what they needed to do.
"Out of curiousity, how many Daleks are you keeping on this TARDIS? I ask, because it seems to me that they may very well have had the same idea I did." The other man spoke up.
"I have no idea!" Koschei spoke up, utter confusion in his voice. "This isn't my TARDIS! I have no clue what that possible future self had them on board for besides some form of experiments."
"When I looked, there had tohave been about hundreds of them. They were all in cells shielded from artron energy that they are using for power." She explained. At least in the best terms as she could. She knew what artron energy was from her physics classes, though...
"Perhaps we should adjourn to a secondary control room, and assess the situation?"
"A united front then." The couple had spoke up again and she found that she wanted to agree with them, but at the same time, she had no idea if that was possible and if the Daleks had decided to take a move on.
"I don't even know if he has one! What became of Gallifrey in the future, Meddler?"
"Listen, Confused One." She turned to Koschei, "I think you SHOULDN'T know what is going on in these futures. Knowing could be enlightening, but dangerous. For now, we have to worry about here, and now. And right now there's some dangerous creatures aboard this ship."
"We need weapons. We need...Devices, something to fight the Daleks. My Tissue Compression Eliminator works against one Dalek at a time, but if we come across multiples of them, my device won't be able to work as fast as a staser or some other blaster."
"I am my own weapon, forged from a supernova. They call me Fire Queen on my home planet. Or just Fire Girl. Take your pick." She then made a face at the lot of them, "If we're united temporarily, I would personally like to know your names. I told you mine. Or lack thereof."

Unclenching, the Meddler looked back at Emilie and shrugged. "Or, perhaps, we should give him the benefit of the doubt?" Then, stretching his legs, he caught back up with the Master. "Out of curiousity," he asked, "how many Daleks are you keeping on this TARDIS? I ask, because it seems to me that they may very well have had the same idea I did." "A united front then," Emilie commented mildly."Precisely." "I have no idea!" Koschei said stopping to catch his breath. "This isn't my TARDIS! I have no clue what that possible future self had them on board for besides some form of experiments.""Delightful." He paused, glancing back to make sure Emilie was keeping up. Koschei's companion, apparently a young woman, spoke up. "When I looked, there had tohave been about hundreds of them. They were all in cells shielded from artron energy that they are using for power.""Hundreds," the Meddler breathed, aghast. "Perhaps we should adjourn to a secondary control room, and assess the situation?" "I don't even know if he has one!" Koschei shouted. With a sigh, the Meddler folded his arms. He'd seen this sort of thing before, but rarely from Time Lords. Most simply never had the opportunity to experience future shock. Usually, you had to let it play itself out. What became of Gallifrey in the future, Meddler?""Listen, Confused One," Koschei's companion said, turning to face him. "I think you SHOULDN'T know what is going on in these futures. Knowing could be enlightening, but dangerous. For now, we have to worry about here, and now. And right now there's some dangerous creatures aboard this ship."Something clicked in the Meddler, and a mad idea surged through him. "Pardon me," he said, bowing slightly to the lady. "I don't believe that we've been introduced. I am the Meddler, and this charming lady accompanying me is Ms. Emilie Gunnar." Then he looked at the past shadow of his one-time friend. " We happened, Koschei. There... there was a War. A War that shook the foundations of the Spiral Politic itself, that threatened to burn the universe." He closed his eyes, unable to look at the man as he spoke. "In the end... in the end I built a weapon that killed the War itself. Gallifrey, and the Daleks. All of them." He looked away. "I... didn't have the courage to use it. But the Doctor... did." Mustering everything he had, he forced himself not to look at Emilie's reaction. Forced himself to concentrate on Koschei. "I'm... the last, Master. I'm all that survives, of Gallifrey." A look of wild, desperate hope crossed his face. " You can change it, though! Just... don't let the Doctor go to Skaro! Whatever it takes, don't let him go! Leave the Daleks there to rot in obscurity!" He was gripping the Master by the shoulders now, shaking him madly. "It'll be hard, but you're the only one that can. Even if I could go back, he'd never listen to me! But he'll listen to you!" He forced himself to calm his voice. "And, in repayment - as if saving all of Gallifrey from extinction wasn't enough - I can tell you this: stay away from the Darkheart. Just... stay away. There's nothing there for you." ((OOC: Clearly, the Meddler's having a guilt-fueled psychotic break. We will return to the main plot shortly. ))
