I am one of the most indecisive people I know, and for that, I apologize -- I've no idea where to send them, nor why they would have all been thrust together. Of course, you know, we could always blame River. I wouldn't mind dragging her into this, if we want to go that route. Or maybe, River just accidentally left something behind with her parents, which they accidentally activated, which then sent them to whichever time Piper's currently in? Any thoughts or preferences, @pixiedash, Rory Williams (Temp)? |

Oops, I'm sorry! I saw this and then forgot to reply!
I'm fine with dragging River into it. Since she's got all the prior knowledge of stuff, she could have some reason behind it. Maybe they're all needed to do something to help the Doctor? Not directly including the Doctor, but it could be something that happens to point him on the right path or avert something that could hurt him?
Amy and Rory, for obvious reasons if River's involved. Piper, because she's known the Doctor for like forever across his lives?
Maybe Amy and Rory just think it's an accident, with this accidental thing from their daughter, but it's actually something River had planned all along? ^_^

I was thinking of having River make a cameo near the end -- but, would we also want a Doctor?
Or maybe River's reasons were simply to gather her family together to meet Ryder -- maybe that was the whole point?

Well... We can probably still do the same-ish thing -- just, without Rory.
So, we were thinking of setting this in Piper's present timeline -- the dystopian future -- and having some sort of 52nd century gizmo or alien artifact that River left in her mother's possession (maybe as a Mother's Day gift?) suddenly activates and whisks her away into the future...
... where she meets Piper.
River can still make a cameo near the end, too.
How's that to start? Obviously, something's gonna need to happen once they meet up and stuff, and I'm happy with that being anything from going out for coffee and dessert and dishing on the Doctor, to some sort of dangerous and potentially alien threat. I'm flexible. <3

I am totally cool with that! Piper's world is pretty crazy and post-apocalyptic and terrible... but I sort of love the idea of these two sitting and having a cup of coffee, while the world blows up around them XD Lol!!!! *drone crashes* Amy:  Piper: *sips* Oh, don't worry about that. That happens all the time. Amy: Oh, don't get ME started! Maybe Piper could start by saying something like, "Well, if you're the Doctor, you're a redhead AND a woman.. and you must be thrilled!" when she first meets Amy. She could think she's a Time Lord, by the weird means of how she showed up. That'll break the ice as to how they both know the Doctor! |

Unless you want to set Amy in her world, and then I can set my world from there. Either or!
