"I was wondering the same thing, how would it get to here, unless..."
He stopped for a minute. Of course.
"Anything that feeds off Artron energy must need to travel through time...all it needed was to travel through time, and not space...has it been feeding off of her all this time?" he looked towards the ceiling.
You poor thing...

“In the door on your TARDIS… that you can see effecting the younger? How would it stretch all the way back to this when?”
The Doctor thought for a minute before offering Emilie an answer to her question, "I would assume that it's just the luck of the draw. Or perhaps, the TARDIS assumed that this version of myself would be the most helpful in the situation. It was at this age that I really began to understand the inner workings of the TARDIS."
That was the truth. In his fourth incarnation, he began to tinker with her abilities a bit more, but in this body, he had an understanding of them. It was all so long ago though, memories started to wash together, The Doctor wasn't always remembering what was what exactly.
"Anything that feeds off Artron energy must need to travel through time...all it needed was to travel through time, and not space...has it been feeding off of her all this time?"
The older Time Lord had to think about that for a few moments before making another assumption about what they were now dealing with, "Whatever it is, it has the TARDIS scared enough to pull two of us in to work on this. We'd better start looking for anything suspicious, on your end of time and mine and Emilie as well, leave nothing unturned."

For the most part, the Doctor had only validated Emilie's previous suspicions. Reassuring in a way, it meant that thus far they might not be in completely over her head.
Except for the fact that while Emilie could fly the TARDIS, she certainly was not equipped to handle fixing her. None of the mechanics behind the wibbly wobbly levers had been explained, or at least, not enough for Emilie to be prepared to risk the TARDIS on her help.
And it was crowded enough in that space for one person. Three definitely wasn't happening. What was she to do then? Sit around and knit?
No... She'd find something helpful to do. Even if she had to brave the library to do so. Hopefully, and she did rather hope for her personal sense of gravity, it wouldn't come to that. But they WERE in the TARDIS, and it made sense to use one's resources.
Standing her ground, Emilie waited to see which Doctor would take charge of the matter first. When it came to the TARDIS, she generally followed his lead. In the case of 'trouble', she definitely did.

"Indeed, now if something's feeding off of the artron energy of the TARDIS, I imagine it would be feeding from the Eye of Harmony, of course, it could be feeding from any one of the tubes which links the Eye to the console room, so keep a look out for anything suspicious, anything at all, whatever it is, it's smart, so keep your wits about you!" The Fifth Doctor said, heading back towards the hallways of the TARDIS.

The older Doctor agreed. He'd hidden the Eye of Harmony better in his new desktop, because he never wanted to have an encounter with someone trying to use it against him like The Master had so long ago. Back in this time, he hadn't been as careful.
"The strongest source of energy would be the eye itself, let's have a look there and we can track from there, don't you think that would be the best way to go?" He turned to Emilie and said, "The eye is this way, come along, I'll show you what makes the TARDIS go."

The term 'Eye of Harmony' was clearly important, but it wasn't something Emilie understood. So she was grateful when one of her friend, the one who knew her best or at least longest, made an offer she couldn't refuse.
I'll show you what makes the TARDIS go.
Falling in step with him immediately, Emilie kept a wary eye out.
"Only trouble is, how do I tell what's suspicious and what's just your, his, odd decorating style, Doctor?"
Anyone who wore celery on his lapel was not a person she would put in charge of decorating any area larger than an actual police call box.

"Good point, well, if it's black, and pulsating, it's not mine, but it could be anything, so, just watch out," the blonde Doctor said, moving in the general direction of where the Eye should be.
I haven't been down here in a long while, I think I know where it is, I hope...
Daleks...no...Master..........no.....what is this?

If it's black, and pulsating, it's not mine.
"There's a nice change," Emilie muttered under her breath.
True, it was 'the Valeyard' not the Doctor with the twisted messed up antiTARDIS, but Emilie had certainly seen plenty of 'black and pulsating' things there.
Keeping her thoughts and tongue mostly to herself, Emile grasped Eleven's hand and tugged him forward with her.
Why were they moving so slow if the TARDIS is in trouble?
She just hoped he would take the hint and run with her.

The Doctor, the older one that is, moved along when they'd covered the discussion, "Yes, well, got to go, me. We'll be back once we've found the Eye of Harmony!"
Whatever was wrong with his TARDIS, The Doctor was determined to find out what it was that was harming his TARDIS. She was the one who'd been with him all this time, he couldn't let her suffer.
"I'm coming Emilie, no need to pull!"
It was as if she was more determined than he was.

"Hurry up then," Emilie muttered, keeping a wary eye out for anything strange as they ventured away.
She did want to get to know this other Doctor, celery or no, but Emilie could wait until they at least had an idea of what was wrong. And anyway, while Emilie still was not certain what the Eye of Harmony was precisely or what it looked like, she very much wanted to see it.
