Melody Pond Fly Away Home - Having freshly regenerated, little Melody is found by the Fourth Doctor in NYC. He expresses a desire to help the little girl and takes her into his TARDIS, before bringing her back to Amy and Rory in 1970. [ACTIVE]The End is the Beginning is the End - The Fourth Doctor drops little Melody off by her parents' apartment building in 1970 NYC, and the Pond-Williams family is finally reunited. Fish fingers and custard, too. And... The Silence. [ACTIVE?]River Song Good Intent - River runs into Donna Noble when she's at the spa on the planet Midnight, and River whisks Donna away on an adventure, taking her to Gallifrey... [INCOMPLETE]With a Little Help From My Friends [part one], and [part two] – River and Sarah Jane Smith both receive an SOS from the Doctor and rush to his aid… The two ladies team up in the year 1989 in an effort to save him, and while working together they develop a mutual respect and friendship. [FINISHED]Dangerous Lipstick - Fresh from her adventure listed above, River meets up with Sarah Jane (about three months later, for SJ) and presents her with her own Sonic Lipstick. Then, they get ready to go out - ladies' night! Of course, that would be too simple. The ladies encounter Capt. John Hart, who has a business proposition for them... [INCOMPLETE]Beatlemania? - River went back in time to 1965 London for the sole purpose of locating and retrieving a very dangerous bit of alien technology. It looked like a ring - a rather gaudy ruby ring - and her research had discovered that it was being worn by Ringo Starr on the set of the Beatles' movie, 'Help!'. [FINISHED]The Infinite Night - River goes to the European city of Timișoara, in the year 1884 - November 2, to be precise. They were going to be the first city in the world to be illuminated with the brand new electric light tonight - and also, according to her studies, this was also the date that the Movellans came to Earth... and, River wasn't about to miss out on either one of these things. She first encounters the Gypsy, Sima Buscan, and then the Ninth Doctor and Grace Holloway arrive in response to River's message to the Doctor via psychic paper. [INCOMPLETE]An Unlikely Ally - River and 11 meet up with Madame Kovarian, who asks them to help her take down The Silence. Can she be trusted? [INCOMPLETE]The Hangover - River crashed the Meddler's bachelor party - as Cleopatra! Now, without any memory of what happened the night before, some weird things are happening in early [Roman] Egypt... [INCOMPLETE]Hijacked Hotties of History - River (as Cleopatra), Emilie (as Morgaine le Fey) and an echo of Clara (Marie Antoinette) share an encounter while Emilie is playing a game of hide-and-seek with her husband, the Doctor. [ACTIVE]At the Mountains of Madness - River, the Meddler (who mistakenly believes River is his wife, the Dreamweaver -- and River thinks he's the Doctor), and the Tenth Doctor converge in Antarctia to investigate a cache of mysterious mummies... [ACTIVE]Culture in the Empire State - River calls the Doctor to 21st Century Manhattan for date night at a sushi restaurant, and a romantic carriage ride around Central Park. [INCOMPLETE]NLoT: Three Amigos [part one], and [part two] - River had been asleep in her room on the TARDIS, and she had very likely been forgotten about with all of the hubbub surrounding the dying/regenerating Archivist. She emerges to find out what’s going on and is witness to the regeneration of the Archivist, along with the Master – meanwhile, the Eleventh Doctor ran away and didn't hang around to watch the Archivist regenerate. [FINISHED]NLoT: You Can’t go Home Again – This continues directly after The Three Amigos - they are apprehended and taken to Gallifrey (which shouldn't exist). [FINISHED]NLoT: On the Run - Continuing from the previous thread, River and the Doctor wind up accidentally teleporting to Gallifrey's Death Zone and are somehow sucked into the Game of Rassilon. [INCOMPLETE]Friendly Hijacking - River runs into Emilie and the 11th Doctor after using her hallucinogenic lipstick on JFK and urging him to go after Marilyn Monroe (in order to keep her away from the Doctor, obviously). After a case of mistaken identity, the three go on an adventure together. [FINISHED]Space Florida - This occurs “about a week” before Amy & Rory’s wedding and will serve as a sort of bachelorette party for Amy. [INCOMPLETE]Hold the City to Your Ears - River picks up an interesting signal & decides to track it, and it leads her to Gwen Cooper. [INCOMPLETE]Freaky Monday thru Friday - Something went wrong on the TARDIS, and River and Amy wind up switching bodies, and so to Rory and the Eleventh Doctor. River (as Amy) and the Doctor (as Rory) decide to spend their time (5 days, M-F) pretending to BE Amy and Rory. The same goes for Amy (as River) and Rory (as the Doctor), who take off in the TARDIS with Eleven's blessing. [FINISHED]Unless You're Chasing Rainbows - River and Eleven, in Amy and Rory's bodies, experience their week in the seemingly mundane Leadworth. [FINISHED]Da Capo al Fine - Sarah Jane Smith pulls River out of the Stormcage, stating that she needs her help on Telos... but, she's really going to confront her about killing the Doctor at Lake Silencio. Of course, that's not what actually happens - turns out, SJ is possessed by an alien parasite - and who comes to her rescue? None other than Capt. Jack Harkness. [ACTIVE]Silence Over Paris - River and Eleven arrive in 1908 Paris on a date night, but things won't be going according to plan... This thread will also feature: The Lost, The Meddler, Lucy Saxon, and of course the Silents. [INCOMPLETE]Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss me - River attends the wedding of Barbara and Ian Chesterton and offers them a fantastic gift: a honeymoon to the time and place of their choosing - they wind up on Gallifrey. [INCOMPLETE]Because the sky is blue, it makes me cry - River reaches out to the Doctor, her husband, for support in the aftermath of losing her parents to the Weeping Angels, but she reached too far back and wound up meeting with the Tenth Doctor, instead of the Eleventh. [FINISHED]The Search for the Planet that Never Was – River, not too long before the Singing Towers and the Library, is hired (perhaps by UNIT?) to help the Last Toclafane find his missing home planet. [INCOMPLETE]Faith, on the Rocks - River and her team go to the planet Harachel on an expedition and wind up encountering the Fourth Doctor and his companion Leela. [INCOMPLETE]PS: Redux - After having dropped off the manuscript for the Melody Malone novel with Amy and Rory in the late 1960s, Rory sends her back to their old place, to inform his father, Brian, that they won't be coming back. [FINISHED]Shadows of the Daleks - River's data ghost, along with the data ghost of Oswin Oswald, assist the Meddler when a fleet of Daleks attack the vashta nerada-infested Library. [INCOMPLETE]NLoT: The Book of the Dead - In order to gain an edge against the New Lords of Time and the Gallifrey that shouldn't be, the Meddler, the Dreamweaver and Amy Pond trek to The Library to recruit Professor River Song to their cause. Only... The thing is... She died and was "saved" to the planet's data core. Will they be able to somehow "download" her into a new body, or restore her to Life some other way? Wait and see, True Believers! [FINISHED] AU Mels’ Timeline: TELEVISION: THE IMPOSSIBLE ASTRONAUT/DAY OF THE MOON - Melody Pond is raised by the Silence in an orphanage in Florida in the 1960s. She eventually escapes and makes her way to New York by December 1969, where she regenerates for the first time. However, she is recaptured by the Silence before she can find her parents and meet the Doctor. She becomes the prime weapon of the Silence.CotS: Enemy of Enemies – Mels teams up with the Phoenix to hunt down the Doctor. [FINISHED]

~SHIPPING~ River + The Eleventh Doctor She'll flirt with... everyone. But, her heart belongs to the Doctor. All of them, really, but Eleven is her Doctor. At least, he's the one she married.

Goals for Pre-River Melody Pond:
I would very much like to write Mels as a teenager. According to my math, she would have been brought to Earth as a baby circa 1963 (that'd be the year of her birth on her birth certificate, to be clear). So, she'd be about 18 in 1981 (or 21 in 1984, the year of "Thriller". Seriously, who doesn't love that song?) - and, she'll be in New York.
For reference, her parents ought to be about 58 in 1981 / 61 in 1984 (unless I fudged up my math. That sometimes happens).
Anyway, the 'in New York' part makes things a little difficult (but not impossible) to interact with others on the site - not everyone is "limited" to the UK, after all (LOL).
If you are interested in writing with a teenage, "American" Mels, please pop me a PM! <3<3
