He expresses a desire to help the little girl and takes her into his TARDIS, before bringing her back to Amy and Rory in 1970. She first encounters the Gypsy, Sima Buscan, and then the Ninth Doctor and Grace Holloway arrive in response to River's message to the Doctor via psychic paper. [INCOMPLETE]Friendly Hijacking - River runs into Emilie and the 11th Doctor after using her hallucinogenic lipstick on JFK and urging him to go after Marilyn Monroe (in order to keep her away from the Doctor, obviously). After a case of mistaken identity, the three go on an adventure together. [FINISHED]Space Florida - This occurs “about a week” before Amy & Rory’s wedding and will serve as a sort of bachelorette party for Amy. [INCOMPLETE]Hold the City to Your Ears - River picks up an interesting signal & decides to track it, and it leads her to Gwen Cooper. Of course, that's not what actually happens - turns out, SJ is possessed by an alien parasite - and who comes to her rescue? None other than Capt. Jack Harkness. [ACTIVE]Silence Over Paris - River and Eleven arrive in 1908 Paris on a date night, but things won't be going according to plan... This thread will also feature: The Lost, The Meddler, Lucy Saxon, and of course the Silents. [INCOMPLETE]Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss me - River attends the wedding of Barbara and Ian Chesterton and offers them a fantastic gift: a honeymoon to the time and place of their choosing - they wind up on Gallifrey. [INCOMPLETE]Because the sky is blue, it makes me cry - River reaches out to the Doctor, her husband, for support in the aftermath of losing her parents to the Weeping Angels, but she reached too far back and wound up meeting with the Tenth Doctor, instead of the Eleventh. [FINISHED]The Search for the Planet that Never Was – River, not too long before the Singing Towers and the Library, is hired (perhaps by UNIT?) to help the Last Toclafane find his missing home planet. [INCOMPLETE]PS: Redux - After having dropped off the manuscript for the Melody Malone novel with Amy and Rory in the late 1960s, Rory sends her back to their old place, to inform his father, Brian, that they won't be coming back. [FINISHED]Shadows of the Daleks - River's data ghost, along with the data ghost of Oswin Oswald, assist the Meddler when a fleet of Daleks attack the vashta nerada-infested Library. [INCOMPLETE]NLoT: The Book of the Dead - In order to gain an edge against the New Lords of Time and the Gallifrey that shouldn't be, the Meddler, the Dreamweaver and Amy Pond trek to The Library to recruit Professor River Song to their cause. Only... The thing is... She died and was "saved" to the planet's data core. Will they be able to somehow "download" her into a new body, or restore her to Life some other way? AU Mels’ Timeline: TELEVISION: THE IMPOSSIBLE ASTRONAUT/DAY OF THE MOON - Melody Pond is raised by the Silence in an orphanage in Florida in the 1960s. She eventually escapes and makes her way to New York by December 1969, where she regenerates for the first time. However, she is recaptured by the Silence before she can find her parents and meet the Doctor. She becomes the prime weapon of the Silence.CotS: Enemy of Enemies – Mels teams up with the Phoenix to hunt down the Doctor. [FINISHED]

Goals for Pre-River Melody Pond:
I would very much like to write Mels as a teenager. According to my math, she would have been brought to Earth as a baby circa 1963 (that'd be the year of her birth on her birth certificate, to be clear). So, she'd be about 18 in 1981 (or 21 in 1984, the year of "Thriller". Seriously, who doesn't love that song?) - and, she'll be in New York.
For reference, her parents ought to be about 58 in 1981 / 61 in 1984 (unless I fudged up my math. That sometimes happens).
Anyway, the 'in New York' part makes things a little difficult (but not impossible) to interact with others on the site - not everyone is "limited" to the UK, after all (LOL).
