I like that, Amy. Good thinking. Should I start it off? Am I allowed to do that? In any case, here's my characters, their probable roles, and my opinated reasons as to why they should have them.
Metacrisis Doctor ~ I have to say Peter Pan. XD His personality and appearance just screams it... and I can totally picture Rose as Wendy; though, perhaps, Peter Pan is more suited for Ten? XD Maybe, more convincingly for Meta, Robin Hood. I can see the Metacrisis yearning for adventure, for danger -- much like his Timelord counterpart -- and giving to the poor and needy is something I think he'd do in another life. Though, I'm not quite sure Robin Hood is considered 'fairytale', as there is said to be appearance of him from the Middle Ages.
Fourth Doctor ~ This one's a bit tricky. I have to say Four was the hardest to form into a fairytale character because of his tendency to be the ever eccentric. At first, I imagined him as Rumplestiltskin, soley for his manic and jesting/compromising disposition, but then thought that, perhaps, the Valeyard or someone of that caliber would be better for the position? Perhaps Pinocchio's father, Geppetto, instead? Fourth's appearance reminds me of how I would picture Mister Geppetto, and I can see Four -- given a normal, fairytale life -- being a carpenter or wood-carver of sorts. It's also not hard for me to imagine him with an alive puppet, either. How's that for companion? XD
Toshiko Sato ~ Like my earlier characters, I am also stuck on two for Tosh. Mulan, obviously because of her asian inhertance and persistance to prove herself, and, also, Cinderella, which derives from the Jail/Isolation Cell to Torchwood -- much like the "rags-to-riches" story in my view. Though, if someone else has a much better reasoning as why their character should take the role of Cinderella, be my guest. =-)
And, as a side note for other characters... I personally think Amy would be a good Little Red Riding Hood, or... Gretal, and Rory could be Hansel? XD haha. I can see Jack as Pinoccio... or a prince, possibly. Maybe First as Jiminy Crickett? XD As I mentioned earlier, Ten as Peter Pan? Rose as Wendy? Valeyard as Rumplestiltskin? Though, of course, these are just my opinions. My thoughts. Everyone's entitled to their own characters, and their own opinions of who they should 'fairytale' as XD

Oh, I love this already! What a fun character exercise to get us started!
I just wanted to drop something here quickly before I go fall into bed (and before I forget to mention it): have you ever considered the Mad Hatter for the Fourth Doctor?
<3
*is still thinking on mine / probably will only pull a few characters of mine into this, and not all of them*

:throws in 2 pence: I think 4Doc would make a good Mad Hatter, and 10 or Meta as Peter Pan =)
As for Fitz, I think there's some traits and some of his backstory that would lend him to roles with the themes of: lying/exaggeration (especially to make himself look better or more heroic and appealing to women, being perceived as a fool or acting childish, thinking he's a coward, being a fake and being lazy. More positive traits include caring about his friends and playing a mean guitar.
Essentially, I don't think Fitz would be a hero's hero in a Storybook land, though he might want to pretend he is. Something like like Don Quixote, believing he's an archaic knight in a modernizing realm. Alternatively, he might be a Pinocchio or Boy Who Cried Wolf type character for his tall tale-telling or Ivan the Fool from Russian folklore, who gets by just by being lucky, friendly, and generally not trying to be too clever.
Thoughts welcome ^_^

I knew I was forgetting a wonderfully mad character that would match him perfectly. I think the Mad Hatter would be a lovely and magnificent alter-ego to the wonderous Four<3 I hope to change all former mentions of probable fairy-tale characters for him now. Thank you, Amy. =-) And, I understand completely. I am not quite sure I want Toshiko in this, though it is true that I need to attend to her posting needs more... XD

I just want to say, I *heart* you guys! And, I love everything I've read so far! <3<3 I was thinking, also, that our fictional personas might best be played in this Event as being either near the beginning or mid-way through their respective stories/tales/fables/myths/etc. Though, in some cases, it might wind up being better to write them as already completed their story. *shrugs* But, it seems (overall) easier to intertwine them in our New World if they've still got a story to complete. Ya know? ~~~~~ So... I guess I'll begin with some Amy-brainstorming: After this scene with Eleven, I can't unsee Amy as Alice (in Wonderland). "Through the looking glass, Amelia?" ~~~~~ And, we can't forget this scene, either... Very Wonderland-like. ~~~~~ Then again, there's also "the girl who waited" angle, which makes me think of: - Rapunzel - waiting in a tower for someone to rescue her
- Sleeping Beauty - waiting for her true love to wake her w/ a kiss
Or... there's always Red Riding Hood: an independent young woman who disobeys her mother and talks to a stranger (the wolf), and chaos ensues. The red cape/hood seems befitting, also, due to her being a big ole' ginge. I can't choose. Rawr.

I think Jack would definitely have to be Prince Charming. And even though a lot of different fairytales feature Prince Charming, I'm sure he wouldn't mind getting around them all, the more dates the better Or Jack from "Jack and the Beanstalk" maybe? Or Jack the Giantkiller? Hmmmm....choices... If I could talk Aietra into providing Vansell as Sleeping Beauty's prince, I'd totally put Ailla up for Sleeping Beauty herself.

Hmm... For River, I was thinking something along the lines of: - Tinker Bell (possibly, depending on who is cast as Peter Pan; because, wouldn't it be fun to have a jealous little River-pixie around?)
- Scheherazade
- Megara (Disney): think of Hades as Kovarian and the Silence, and there we have a bit of a similarity to River's history.

My input... if you don't mind XD :
Amy Pond ~ I can see her more of an Alice. She, like the curious girl from Wonderland, stumbles upon a world of mystery and adventure, first when she is younger, and later when she is older.
I also think the scenes from the series help push along the idea, too. <33 that scene with Amy and Eleven, by the way~
River Song ~ Oh, either definately Tinkerbell or Megara. Probably more Tinkerbell to me, as far as personality goes.
Cap'n Jack ~ Cap'n Cheesecake would make for the perfect Prince Charming, I think. Absolutely no arguement there ;-)
Fitz ~ Maybe its young looks, or perhaps it's his tendency to tell tales, but he looks to me like a Pinocchio. XD

I can totally see Susan as Snow White. Like Snow, Susan ran away from home for reasons beyond her control. She's always up for a good adventure (though, I think she would prefer a good book), and she is much tougher than she looks. And yet, she's also (usually) quite sweet and gentle.
Any of her established incarnations on this site would fit the bill, too.

Alright so I'd like to throw Luke into this madness!
Luke: I could see Luke as Henry Mills due to his advanced knowledge of the things around him. Also his innate trust in everyone around him. Another person I could see him as is Pinocchio, though this is more a back up, considering Luke's desire to be a real human boy.

Sweet!
I do wish to clarify that this isn't actually a OUAT crossover, per se, but rather, we're taking the TV show's general idea of fairy tale characters being "magically" transported to a new world and given new identities and memories -- and then, reversing it so that our "normal" characters believe that they are fairy tale characters in a new world with new memories.
And, man... If you go Pinocchio with Luke, it'd be killer-rad to see SJ as the Blue Fairy, or, erm... Gepetta? LOL -- just sayin'. <3

Lol I knew that Amy, thanks though for the reminder, I just was trying to compare them and say the personalities I was considering. Sorry if I wasn't to clear on what I was doing.
YESSSSS!!! Gepetta SJ!!!
