I know that there had been an event sorta based on/inspired by the TV show "Once Upon a Time", but I had something a bit more simplified in mind...
So, imagine a reverse-OUaT, where any and all characters get sucked into The Land of Fiction, and they have no memory of who they really are. Instead, each one believes themselves to be a different character from fiction/fairy tales/fantasy stories/etc.
Would anyone be interested in starting up an Event like this? An open-ended board, essentially, where we can pop in and write new threads as our muses so desire?
Of course... we'd have to make sure there were no duplicate fictional characters, though... There are SO MANY to chose from, that I doubt that'd be a problem.
Thoughts, ideas, suggestions? Anyone?

Maybe, to help get us started, we might post up a brief bio / a few paragraphs (with or without photoshopped art, if you feel creative) for each character we wish to involve in this Event. That way, we'll know who all we have to plot with.
But, let's not get to work on those just yet - I just wanted to put that out there for you all to start thinking about.
Before posting these bios, let's first feel free to discuss fictional character ideas, insofar as which new role might be best suited for each character we wish to involve. From there, we can better sort out what sort of blended fairy tale adventure to write with each other.
I do expect this Event to be comprised of several different threads (and this thread will likely be moved to the Event forum after we have things hammered out and ready to go).
NOTE: this will likely wind up being an on-going, long term Event that anyone can feel free to jump in and out of, so long as you check in here, first. <3

This seems fun! Would be fun seeing Fitz gambol about the Land of Fiction, thinking he's a storybook persona.
Question:
-though the characters lose their innate memories, does their adopted fiction character persona depend on some of their original traits (perhaps exaggerated versions)?

You know, I would think so - I think that would be lovely! So, they'll be a fairytale character, with no memory of their Real life, but with their normal persona/characteristics peppered throughout. Likewise, we'll want to cast our characters into appropriate and complimentary fairytale roles (if that makes sense). |

Here's another question... how will we pin different Fairytale personas to each character? Will it somehow be incorperated into the "bios" that were mentioned? Do we sign up for them? Or... are we not there yet? XD

Not quite there yet - no worries!
But, each "bio" ought to be titled by fairytale character name, since we already have our characters themselves represented in our individual accounts.
I was sort of planning to move the "bios" from here to their own thread in the Events board - but first, we:
A) need to ask First to add a board for us in the Events forum (pretty please?), and ...
B) need to get our foundation laid insofar as who's going to take on which role (and, let's go deep and try to keep their fairytale lives similar to their Real lives), and what sorts of threads we wish to start with each other (cuz, it's hard to plot without knowing who's who, and whatnot).
Maybe we should start bidding for character roles? Maybe we also ought to include our reasoning as to why each character would be best for the fairytale role? That seems like it would make our casting process fair, and if we hit a snag where more than one character is going for the same role, perhaps we can discuss it here, as well? Talk it out amongst ourselves, ya know?
Or, if we have no idea what role we're aiming for, we can also discuss that, and share our thoughts with each other.
How's that for a plan to get started?
