T+ RP boards (READ)

The team has decided to open a new category on the boards that is for the more adult RPers under us. Read carefully, because this is not a porn or cybering board (Your posts will be immediately deleted if you do), but the rating will be considered 16+
So more violence, language and more adult situations will be allowed.

The rule is, you need to be 16+. We of course cannot check if you really are 16 plus, but we can generally see if someone is mature enough to read such things. The boards will only be visible to a certain member group which you'll be added to if you post as a reply to this thread station you want to join the T+ member group.

Rules to this board will be:

Rating:
T to R (NO NC17!)
What is in this section STAYS in this section.

Allowed:
-Sexual/suggestive language
-Swearing words.
-More mature RP (groping/fondling, nudity, more heavy subjects then allowed in PG-13). But ONLY in agreement with other RPers.

Not allowed:
-Outright intercourse. You're allowed to get some sexy time (fondling and groping in places) and nudity, but no actual intercourse, that needs to be done off the website.
-No explicit explanations on exposed genitalia.
-No explicit images/porn.

If a PG-13 thread starts to need a higher rating, you can ask a mod to move it to this board if all the RPers in the thread agree.


So again, if you wish to join the T+ RP's and enter the boards, reply below here that you'd like to be part of it. We'll add you to the member group.

I might be interested....but isn't this one of these things you have to be careful about. Because I thought Proboards comes down hard on R-rated stuff.

Our basic feeling is that, while the majority of the board is limited to PG-13 or less, there is room for harder-edged material.

As a for example, I had to tone down Rebirth in the old boards, because I planned to deal with more mature subject matter - murder, somewhat graphic violence, language, mind control, and so on. It was going to be a fairly gritty, crime drama. Staring the Master.

What I ended up with wasn't bad by any means. But it wasn't what I'd wanted.

So, we're going to try this 16+ board out. In a screened section, that only people who have signed up for it (and been approved for it) can access. The rules don't need to be changed, because the 16+ board has its own extra rules and nothing has changed for the rest of the board.

I'll agree that amending the sideboard to say "All publicly-accessable content on this site must be PG-13 or under" probably isn't a bad idea, though.

I'd rather not like this on the main page to be known for the next reasons:

1) The board isn't publicly accessible. You first need to sign up and then be added to a member group by an admin.

2) I don't want to put on the main flag we do higher rating RP. We are primarily a PG-13 RP, only in exceptions the T+ board is used. I'd rather not have people sign up just because they can see we have a T+ RP board.

Well....I'll be truthful, I am not much into too much adult stuff but.... if I wanted to get a bit darker with Phoenix, I would like the ability to explore the darker side of her personality and so I think I'll sign up just so I can do so just in case I get too violent and gory for the regular boards.
