History: Doctor Ameilia Song - born Amelia Lennox-Sterling, is the daughter of the renegade Primarch known as the Professor and her human consort Aengus Lennox-Sterling, Lord Commander of Dyrnwyn Regiment, the first-contact division of the Armies of Imperial Albion. Unfortunatly, the Professor had made many enemies in her long, long life, and one of them - another renegade Primarch that called herself the Strategist kidnapped her at the age of eight. The Strategist, who had no love for the Primarchs of Eternity, was in league with the Vardan Confederacy to supplant them. And Amelia would be key to her plans.
Despite the Professor's best efforts, she proved unable to trace her daughter through the labyrinth of traps and blind ends left by the Strategist. And, while the Professor hunted her, the Strategist raised Amelia outside of time, training her to be the perfect weapon to destroy the Primarchs. And the plan nearly succeeded. At the age of 30 she was able to infiltrate Gallifrey posing as a new Aspirant, and acquire most of the components required to build the dread Dematerialization Rifle. Only one component, the Sceptre of Longorious, was missing. So, innovative, she built one.
It almost worked.
As the Strategist brought down the Transduction Barriers and the Quantum Forcefield to allow the beseiging Vardans Confederacy access, Amelia activated the D-Mat Rifle. It overloaded. The Vardans and the Primarchs both were wiped from history as if they never were. Amelia nearly perished herself, spared only by the last-minute rescue of the mysterious renegade named the Doctor.
"Your mother told me what happened to you," was the last thing she heard as she collapsed from her causal injuries. "None of this was your fault. Remember that. Remember that!"
When she awoke, she was an infant with no memories of her prior life. She'd been placed with an adoptive family on a Gaian colony world in the 57th century AUC. Her new parents, Matthew and Alexandra Song, were aware that she was special in some fashion - that she wasn't human, and that people might come looking for her. Let them, they laughed. YOu're ours, now.
It was a good life. Matt and Alex were xenoarchaeologists, frequently visiting wild regions of border worlds trying to unravel the question of why so many sentient species went extinct shortly before achieving starflight. By the time she was 8 (or 40, depending on how you're counting) she'd visited twenty-two different planets and could speak a dozen or so languages. By the time she was 16, she had been admitted to the prestigious Luna University to pursue a Masters (and, later, Doctor of Philosophy) in History and Archaeology.
It was at Luna University that she encountered the Doctor again, this time posing as a Lecturer in Physics. His face was different, but she knew him. And that knowledge began to break down the memory blocks he'd placed in her. She confronted him, demanding to know why he'd tampered with her mind. His response?
"You deserved better, Amelia. Deserved better than shouldering the guilt for being used by the Strategist."
It was shortly after that confrontation when she stowed away on the TARDIS. The two spent a lot of time bickering and quarrelling for the first few years she traveled with him, in between her studies. He insisted that she shouldn't be on the TARDIS, that she should have a normal life, and that this was going to be the last time he'd allow it. Every time she stowed away, it was proclaimed to be her last time. But he never stopped her, and he always had an excuse to come back to Luna University. Even after he'd stopped the Cybersontaran armada that threatened Gaia.
Really, it was no surprise to anyone when she proposed to him at her graduation. Or that he accepted. And ever since she'd been travelling with her husband.
Additional Medical Information: Although she had not been Invested in a formal ceremony, Amelia Song can regenerate. She is currently on her second life, and does not know how many times her "wild" regenerations will work. She was nearly indistinguishable from a human in her first life, but is now biologically a Primarch.
Writing Submission: Can be found in Infinity Doctors
Notes: This is First, putting up a character sheet for my POV character in Infinity Doctors. She's either an NPC or a Temp - I really don't expect to see her getting any use outside of that particular thread.
