Hello!
I thought that we could use a little planning for what happens next in our thread. The thing is, I'm also a bit of an over-planner, so don't mind telling me to stop thinking and just write following the flow.
Anyway, here it is! And really, feel free to shrivel up my notes and throw them in the waste basket, or change them as you'd like.
The mummies awake: the Silurians specimens that the scientists found in the Cave wake up. They're gonna kill someone, make something else explode, liven up things and escape down the drilling shaft and back into the Cave.
I could start to write about this while we wait for our trio to lock step.
The question is: do we want things to liven up before the plane lands? Thus, we'll have some sort of a crash landing, e.g. a thick column of smoke could give the pilot a hard time or something like that.
Or the awakening and the troubles connected to it could happen after the landing, giving us time to catch up with our characters. All that's left, is to decide how long we'd like to quietly talk together before things liven up.
Oh, and since I'm here, now that the Doctor gets that the soldiers aren't US Army, he'll try to guess what's behind it (and correct me if I'm wrong, he should have no idea of what the OEI is, right?). He'll probably drop his UNIT's 'credentials'. Sort of. Would that be alright?
And again, sorry for the displaced start! I thought we would all begin straight to the drilling site!
