Terra's Plot Archive WELCOME: This is where I'll keep a list of any plot ideas I have that have not yet been put into a thread. If you are interested in one, simply send a message and we will discuss it in PM to see if your character fits the plot. 1) -First Incarnation- For every picture there is a thousand words. Unless you're Cai, in which case there is probably at least three times that. Cai is infamous for his constantly running mouth, his witty pop-culture jokes, and his insane ramblings. But what happens when he wakes up one day and finds that something happened to him in the night and he can no longer talk?2) -First Incarnation- The Big Apple, one of the largest and most dangerous cities in the world. Life in New York City is violent and filled with dirty cops, vicious gangs, drug addicts and dealers on every corner. And heading up as the new top of the food chain, a psychotic mercenary hired for a job to raid a secret facility with the goal to disarm a dirty nuke.
Cai finds himself in the middle of New York, tracking down a group of terrorists with the intent of unleashing the bomb somewhere in the city. Hundreds of thousands of lives on the line, a definite time factor involved, so many targets to swing a sword at... And Cai can't help but be bored with it all. So much simple fear, so much effort for a city he cares nothing about.

1) Scyserine Temple is the central hub of the Children of the Next Coming, who worship technology and believe that one day technology will advance so far that eventually it will take over all organic life under the guidance of a being they refer to as Scyser, a fully sentient mechanical being that can absorb and meld with organic material and organisms on a molecular level. They believe that Scyser will lead all live in the universe to a combined existence for the good of all life, and therefore devote themselves to the advancement of technology for the sole purpose of benefitting anyone and everyone possible. However, a small sect within the religion believe that Scyser's true intent is to use technology in order to enslave all life and rule over the universe, so much so that they create a techno virus that infects all mechanical matter and takes control of it. As well as eliminating anything it can not control.

As a key ideal of his order, resolving disputes and restoring balance is the duty of all monks. Such as it is when Shan finds himself visiting a planet in the brink of a civil uprising due to racial inequalities and oppression. While normally left to those higher of his order to settle such issues, Shan must utilize all of his teachings to find a peaceful resolution before an all out war breaks free.
2) When Shan first left his home planet, Yshier, he sought to visit other worlds and peoples in an effort to gain a better understanding of the universe and how everything in it worked together. But along his path, while seeking to restore balance where he could and help those in need, he's felt as if something has been nudging him along, guiding him toward something almost too big to see. When he begins to see a mysterious blue specter appear to him, a shadow he'd encountered a number of times during his journey, he begins to suspect it is leading him somewhere specific. That perhaps this strange apparition is leading him toward some destiny he may not be ready to face...
