I want to, but I don't think any of my current characters would be able to without some timey wimey explanations. Jamie would be the most likely candidate, I think, but if you have an idea for Leela or Erida, I'd be happy to hear it!

And now I have an idea. It's complex, but it might just work. Here's the idea: we do the thread Highlander-style.
Check this out.
We start off with Two and Jamie and Victoria arriving at some 60s-style retrofuture colony in space. Something is killing the colonists, something tnat strikes only at night, and security is tight. So naturally, when our intrepid heroes are discovered by the guards, they are arrested as the murderers. Then, at some point, the Doctor remarks that there is something familiar about the planet.
That cueues the flashback, to the Doctor and Susan arriving and getting involved with a different group of colonists who have just arrived. The first night, something attacks a settler.
The plot then bounces between past and future. Players whose character isn't "on screen" at the moment take on the roles of minor characters so they can bluzter and threaten and scream and get eaten.
I'm not certain how to work the third Doctor in for this one. But I'd certainly be up for a 1/3 thread with Susan and Sarah Jane. Maybe something involving the Rolling Stones (as the Doctor indulges Susan's obsession with 69s and 70s Earth music)? We could call it "Sympathy for the Devil", and plot from there.

I like it, but we have no 2!  Perhaps Victoria and Jamie could arrive with 2, but some kind of temporal shift happens, and it causes 2 to be replaced by 3? I don't know what would cause the temporal shift, though. |

*points* What the lad said. As for the idea for Third... "Sympathy for the Devil" calls for a possession theme - colony of tiny alien parasites that like wood, metal and electrical cords making it look like the instruments are 'alive'? Backstage staff substituted by Autons? Mick & Co are actually aliens with longer lifespans than humans, bigger lungs and resistance to not so legal substances? That would explain a lot about those guys' stamina  |

I don't suppose you and Susan Foreman would be interested in the angst involving a young pre-UNIT possibly pre-travelling Emilie Gunnar meeting First and Arkytior, hm? Because I don't believe that the First Doctor wouldn't recognize his wife. Only, y'know... the perception filter is still working so she seems to have one heart. And doesn't believe you could travel space without shattering your bones... that kind of thing. It could be glorious. |
