"Oh, look at that, it does move. Well then, best not wait any longer. Emilie, Sarah Jane, Doctor, remember, if you see one, don't look away from it. Keep your eyes on the Angel, alert someone else and for god's sakes, do not, and I mean do not look away. Don't even blink."
The Third Doctor nodded. "Understood, Doctor. But we'd better make sure this Angel doesn't cause any trouble while we're out." He moved to turn the scanner off, but Emilie beat him to it. She was sharp. "Thank you," he nodded at her with a smile.
And she was as ready as anything, eagerly awaiting to open the doors from the console as Sarah came to stand beside him. He gave his companion a reassuring smile and took her hand. Turning his attention back to Emilie, he nodded at and came to stand beside her.
"Shall we?" the Third asked, putting his hand on the switch with her.

The older Time Lord beamed as his current companion took charge. She and Sarah Jane were both incredibly similar at their respective age. Or at least he Doctor thought that they were close in age, it was hard to tell sometimes when there were big gaps in time between seeing people.
Regardless, they had a job to do, get into the museum, get back to his TARDIS and get it out of there before it became Angel food.
He was right behind Sarah Jane and his younger self. Emilie had taken the lead, and The Doctor was alright with that. If she was in the front, he could keep an eye on everyone, make sure that they were all safe. Yes, this was a good plan.

"Shall we?" the Third asked, putting his hand on the switch with her.
Emilie smiled brightly to the Doctor, quite glad that he seemed so amenable to her messing about with his TARDIS.
"Yes, let's do, Doctor."
Fixing her gaze determinedly back on the doors, she lowered the switch at the same time as the Doctor.
The good news was, whatever Angel had shown in the scanner was not immediately at the door, but that could change. The bad news was, the Angel might be somewhere worse.
"Out you go, Smiths. No need to kep this lovely girl in more danger by hanging about with her door open."
Despite her words, Emilie had not budged from the console or, therefore, the Third Doctor's side yet. Her gaze remained steadfast on the doorway. As interesting as she found the Lonely Assasins, Emilie could not bear the thought of one coming inside. So she stood fast, not even feeling the need to blink.

She had heard rumors of this museum. A military museum open only to ranking military. A place they could memorialize battles unknown to the general public. Secret missions. Classified incidence. Also, many tributes to men who had sold their souls to save England with deeds that would be terribly condemned outside this place.
2012, the shock haired Doctor had said, and Sarah Jane believed it. Ghostly three dimensional film images stood flickering on glowing pedestal, quietly telling their tale, no one story rising above the others. These were scattered among more traditional installations, and she recognized an alien or two. There in the corner an image of her very own friend, the Doctor, and there a man condemned by the world, here exulted.
Memorials had everything from stone monoliths, to bronze statues of their stated hero to more high tech colorful displays of more modern art and electronic wizardry.
Star of David. Crosses. Angels.
She clutched at the Doctor's hand, memorizing names like crazy, her eyes forcefully open anyway. On her side of their little caravan, she saw half in shadow 'round the corner what looked to her like part of the top profile of the TARDIS through the door.
She pointed, nearly shouted. "Oh, there! There it is!" Though she wasn't entirely certain.

Despite the fact that she was urging them to go on out, Emilie herself didn't seem too keen on leaving the TARDIS. The Doctor didn't blame her. These creatures sounded extremely terrifying indeed, from what he and Sarah Jane had been told. So he decided to take the lead once the doors opened. With a firm grip on his companion's hand, he headed out. "Come on everyone."
It certainly was an interesting place. Definitely in the future. A war museum of some sort. He took a quick glance around, not lingering on anything for too long. Their primary goal was to find the future TARDIS. Once they did that, the sooner they could get out of here alive. As his gace romaed the room, the Third Doctor saw something in the corner of his eye. A statue tucked away in an alcove. It had wings, and its hands were covering its face. Weeping. Could it be...
She pointed, nearly shouted. "Oh, there! There it is!" Though she wasn't entirely certain.
Broken out of his thoughts, the Doctor looked round at where Sarah was pointing and walked round to look at it. "It appears to be. Good work Sarah," he smiled at her. Then he turned to look at his future self, to see if he had come out of the TARDIS, and then his eyes caught the statue again. Only its hands had lowered down to show its eyes. And it did look sinister.
"Alright, Doctor," he said. "I believe the best plan would be to take our respective TARDISes, get them a safe distance from the Angels, then work out how to get rid of them. Agreed?" He kept the Angel in his sight at all times.

"Out you go, Smiths. No need to kep this lovely girl in more danger by hanging about with her door open."
"Oi," Eleven called back towards Emilie, then nodded towards Sarah Jane, "She's Smith. I'm The Doctor. I just borrow her name from time to time, because it's one of the great humany-wumany names." Hopefully that would be enough to discourage Emilie from forgetting that his name was The Doctor.
She could call him Smith, if the situation called for it. But sometimes, The Doctor worried that Emilie didn't understand that The Doctor was not a title, it was his identity. For as long as he'd known himself at least, when he'd become a Time Lord until now, The Doctor was who he was.
"Oh, there! There it is!"
"It appears to be. Good work Sarah."
Sarah Jane's announcement shook him, just a bit. The Doctor looked up and ahead, a TARDIS indeed. He grinned before saying, "Look at that. Just where I left her. Good, they haven't harmed her." He was relieved, having been agonizing over her fate. The Angels wanted his TARDIS something fierce.
"Alright, Doctor," he said. "I believe the best plan would be to take our respective TARDISes, get them a safe distance from the Angels, then work out how to get rid of them. Agreed?"
"Agreed!" The Eleventh called back, "Excellent thinking Doctor. Emilie and I will return to my TARDIS and we'll move them. I'll lock onto your coordinates, they'll be in her memory bank long before Emilie and I get there." He nodded to his young self, then flashed a smile at Sarah Jane, "Two shakes and we'll be right on your tail. Ready Emilie?"

Emilie tilted her head slightly. She could have sworn Zoe had said something about Doctor John Smith. Or had it been someone else?
She was not really sure why she occasionally felt the urge to call him that. And she really did not mean to bother him. But the name still occasionally rose to her lips as if it were natural, and Emilie had never taken the time to wonder why.
Nor would she today, as she slowly followed the others outside of the Third Doctor’s TARDIS, reluctant to leave her unprotected from the Angels but eager to rejoin her own nonetheless.
Ready Emilie?
“Ready or not, Doctor,” Emilie grinned, offering her hand to him. “Geronimo.”

She did not like it here. Well, she loved it here really, or would have if she wasn't worried that any moment one of the monuments was going to come to life and try to shred her.
The Doctor's praise, however, was rather worth the journey, she liked how he said her name.
Keeping close to her Doctor. Within the reach of his arms, she felt safe. She'd seen him do amazing things. She waved a brisk goodbye to the other two.
"See you there! Emilie, don't let him get lost." She grinned at her counterpart from the future.
All casualness aside, she had a good grip on the Doctor and was now all but pulling them back to the real TARDIS.
"This place gives me the creeps Doctor, lets split."

"Alright then," the Third Doctor smiled at the pair, waving them off. "We'll see you both in a minute. Good luck." He turned to move into his TARDIS as his future self went into his, and his eyes flickered over the Angel. Was it just him, or had it shifted position? The air seemed to get thicker every moment. This place had an extremely cold, sinister chill to it. Sarah Jane evidently thought the same.
"This place gives me the creeps Doctor, let's split."
Moving after his companion as she pulled him towards their blue box, he nodded. "I agree. We need to get the old girl out of here as soon as possible."
Opening the doors, he immediately went up to the console and turned on the scanner. "Let's see, this is an underground museum. So there must be a surface entrance..." A map appeared on the screen and he looked at it while he fiddled with the controls. Different parts appeared, until..."There!" A red dot represented the entrance, and he set the co-ordinates. "We'll land on the surface near there and deal with the Angels." As his hand hovered over the dematerialisation lever, he looked to his companion.
"Ready, Sarah Jane?"

A quick dash to his TARDIS would be doable, however, the weight of the situation was becoming quite apparent now. It hadn't hit him at first, maybe because he and Emilie hadn't been expected Weeping Angels, and he'd held it in when around his younger self, however, he felt a burning sensation inside of him.
Oh, yes, anger, there you are.
He was full of rage right now. If there was a way to swiftly destroy these Angels, he'd try and figure out how to make slower and more painful. Prejudice? Maybe just a little, The Doctor had a rage inside of him regarding these Angels.
He looked to Emilie, "Ready Emilie?"
“Ready or not, Doctor,” Emilie grinned, offering her hand to him. “Geronimo.”
He took her hand and gripped it tight, perhaps harder than he really should have. If his actions in the Time War were considered deplorable, the things he would do to the Angels if they harmed Emilie or Sarah Jane would make Gallifrey's destruction look harmless.

The run was fine, facing the Angels again was fine, but the tension in her Doctor's hand.... That, Emilie knew she had to do something about.
As soon as the TARDIS doors shut behind them, Emilie immediately hugged the Doctor, not even trying to extricate her hand at this juncture.
"I've got you," she murmured. "No matter what, yeah?"
After slowly releasing him from their hug, Emilie led him over to the console. It was time to chase down his younger self and help clean up the mess that was the Angels if at all possible.

That first bit had gone very very well. She expected much from this Doctor from the future, but Emilie had been the prize. Quite a clever girl and bright bunny alert on a potentially dangerous jaunt. By evidence of Emilie's confidence, Sarah Jane was betting the young woman wouldn't be the type to melt or get all gibbory. Sarah Jane came in close on the Doctor's heels thinking that this just might turn out to be fun. The Doctor's hands moved with graceful economy over the TARDIS controls.
"Ready?" He asked her, clearly enjoying the gallop as well. "Always." She said, smiling back and put her hand atop his as he smoothly pulled the lever and sent them into the Vortex.
She was determined to learn how to drive.

Smiling at Sarah, the Doctor moved around the console, flicking switches and turning dials. It wasn't that much of a trip compared to others that the TARDIs had made, but with a threat like the Weeping Angels around, you could never be too careful. Fortunately they reached the surface without incident, and the police box vworped to a slow, smooth, steady halt.
"There we are then," he said, pleased with how things were going so far. "Come on then, let's see if they're out there." Opening the doors from the console, he went down to them. The Doctor paused briefly to reach his hand out for Sarah to take with a smile. Then he went outside.

"Yeah." The Doctor, reaffirmed, answered Emilie. If they wanted to take her from him, let them try. The only reason The Doctor wasn't making a massacre of them already was that Emilie was safe, and that he and Sarah Jane were watching from so near.
Otherwise, there would be swift, serious consequences for the sins of their kin.
"Right then." The Doctor's hand fell to Emilie's tightening into her palm, "Run Emilie, run!"

Emilie forgot for a moment the ever present danger of the Angels. She had no need to fear them with the Doctor so fierce.
Instead, she watched him wide eyed until the moment he told her to run.
She ran, hand in hand. Back to their TARDIS, back to home and safety and their base of operations for all sorts of problem solving.
Weeping Angels near UNIT? No problem.
They had this.
