Aside from the meeting (so long ago now it felt!) with the Valeyard, Emilie loved meeting other incarnations of the Doctor. So many different faces and outfits, for both him and the TARDIS! It felt a bit like falling into pictures of the past and getting the chance to chat and explore.
Following them into the hall, Emilie giggled quietly at her Doctor's story. She could just picture it too!
"What did you do to irritate her that day, Doctor?" Emilie asked curiously, wondering if he even knew or if it had been 'accidental'.

"What did you do to irritate her that day, Doctor?
"Well, it was a combination of trying to bring a horse on board, and not cleaning up the bale of hay I left in the console room after the horse disappeared into the halls."
"Sounds like the TARDIS alright," The Eighth answered. He chuckled, "I remember one time when she was very cross with my companions." He chuckled, "It's quite a long story. I'll save it for another time, or perhaps later today if we have the time."
He led them into the library to a shelve with a bright red book, which he tipped. The shelf began to move and open a passage way. The Eleventh grinned.
"I've completely lost all my secret passage entrances."

He brought a horse on board? No wonder she got upset! They might be very useful and even rather pretty, but there was no denying that horses were filthy.
"Not a wise move. Silly boy."
And 'boy' was perfectly acceptable when the Doctor had been that ridiculous.
Emilie was soon distracted again by the Eighth Doctor revealing a secret passageway in the library.
"We need to unlose them," she stated matter of factly before amending herself with, "Please, Doctor?" as she looked to Eleven again.

"Not a wise move. Silly boy."
The older Time Lord shrugged, "Obviously you hadn't seen the horse." It certainly had been worth keeping in his mind. Obviously the TARDIS had thought otherwise.
He chucked as they made their way through the passage way.
The Eighth Doctor was leading them quietly, clearly he was quite amused and enjoying the company of the future Team TARDIS.
The Eleventh nodded when Emilie requested to find the missing passage ways in his TARDIS, "Of course we can, I just haven't had a chance."

Emilie's expression clearly said that she did not need to see the horse. Even the nicest horse was filthy, and that was that.
But everything was okay, because her Doctor had agreed to find their secret passages.
She had hugged him quickly, and Emilie proceeded to kiss first her Doctor's cheek and then Eight's before smiling impishly to both of them.
"Geronimo."
And with that, Emilie was off, racing down the passageway past Eight simply trusting her instinct.

"Not a wise move. Silly boy."
The older Time Lord shrugged, "Obviously you hadn't seen the horse."
The younger got a good chuckle out of their exchange. He enjoyed having companions that didn't just accept whatever he said. It was nice to have someone he could shoot lines back and forth with, like he and Romana had long ago, before she'd regenerated into her third incarnation and become so cold towards him.
Then suddenly, Emilie said Geronimo, kissed them both and took off running. He looked to the older version of himself before asking, "Am I wrong to assume that's typically your line?"
The Eleventh rubbed the back of his head, "Well, yes. I suppose I didn't really have a catchphrase when I was you. That will change."
The Eighth sighed, "Oh, I wish it wouldn't." With that, they both took off after Emilie.

Emilie had skidded to a stop inside the med lab. She could hear the Doctors following, but she was simply in too good of a mood to wait for them!
Dancing about the room, she switched on the lights with a hum.
"Artron energy readings?" Emilie asked aloud to the TARDIS. She stood still for a moment before impulsively deciding 'this must be the right machine' and moving closer to inspect it.

The duo of Time Lords, er, Time Lord, arrived just as Emilie was running everything all by herself. The Eighth Doctor looked rather impressed, "You've taught her Gallifreyan medical practices? My my, she is very clever, this one."
The Eleventh was equally impressed, but more confused than his younger self, "Actually, I don't think I've even taken her to the infirmary. She's a student though."
Coughing, the older Doctor spoke up, "Emilie. Are you sure you know what you're up to?" She was doing exactly what she needed to, but he was curious if she knew that.

The Doctor was talking to himself, but that was nothing new so Emilie didn't focus too much on that. She was too busy setting things up without turning anything on and possibly frying the equipment.
Emilie. Are you sure you know what you're up to?"
Oh, dear. The Doctor was calling her out.
"Well... no...?"
Flushing, she folded her arms and immediately averted her eyes to the floor. Emilie almost explained that she had asked the TARDIS, then realized how silly that would sound.
“Just felt right.”

"Well... no...?"
The two Doctors looked to each other, Emilie had flew in here and started putting it all together, without even knowing what she was really doing. That was most interesting to The Doctors, because without knowing what she really doing, she had the whole thing properly set up.
“Just felt right.”
The Eighth Doctor's voice hummed up just a bit, "Oh? Emilie, do you have any latent psychic ability?" The older Doctor cut in, "As long as I've known her, she doesn't." Again, the younger Doctor looked thoughtful about the entire thing.
"It's like she's speaking directly to the TARDIS. Curious, wouldn't you say?"

It was very awkward for a moment there, before the Eighth Doctor tried coming up with an explanation.
Latent psychic ability? That would certainly be nice, wouldn't it? Well, maybe not nice. Emilie supposed it would depend on what she could hear with it.
Her Doctor seemed to find the idea ridiculous though, which put Emilie out just a tad.
"Just because I don't always understand your mind, Doctor," she started to tease, before stopping at the younger Doctor's comment. For just a moment, her expression was rather guilty. Then Emilie recovered, sliding over to his side curiously.
"Do you think I could? Properly, I mean? I get impressions sometimes, but it's not the same."

"Just because I don't always understand your mind, Doctor."
While the Eighth Doctor tilted his head in a confused manner when Emilie said that, was she teasing him? He was serious. The older Doctor didn't clear up the situation, he just let it get swept under the rug, it was an interesting point though.
"Do you think I could? Properly, I mean? I get impressions sometimes, but it's not the same."
The Eleventh answered this one, "It's completely possible, I've known plenty of legitimate psychics from Earth. You humans, so much potential, it's crazy sometimes when I think about it."
A followup thought hit The Doctor, "Perhaps the TARDIS has unlocked yours. She's always taken a liking to you Emilie. Perhaps that's what it is."

"Perhaps the TARDIS has unlocked yours. She's always taken a liking to you Emilie. Perhaps that's what it is."
"That would be magnificent!" Emilie clapped in excitement.
Twirling over to another machine, she reached up to adjust its focus on her, before turning her attention back to the Doctors.
"Possible connection to the TARDIS aside.... Shall we get this show on the road, my dears?"

The Eighth stood back as they considered Emilie's abilities, or at least the potential ones. She was quite excitable, he liked that in a companion.
Still, she seemed to be quite aware of what she was putting her hands on, it absolutely had to be the TARDIS helping her.
"Possible connection to the TARDIS aside.... Shall we get this show on the road, my dears?"
"Ah, yes," The younger Time Lord nodded, gathering his thoughts and moving to some of the equipment, "I'll get this started right away."

As the Doctor started to take control, Emilie clasped her hands behind her back standing still (well, relatively still) at last. She was rather curious as to how the machines were actually supposed to be set up and how they worked.
So far, at least, he hadn't made any giant changes to her set up. Perhaps that was why he was so curious about her talking to the TARDIS?
Thinking about it too long made Emilie's head hurt though, so she was quite happy to move along.
"Thank you, Doctor."
